Boise, ID (CBS 2) — 94.9 "The River" is teaming up with Leinenkugel’s to help clean up the Boise River.
Every year, the radio station organizes volunteers to help clean up trash people have left along the banks of the Boise River.
This year's cleanup is Saturday, Aug. 17 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Organizers will provide trash bags and gloves.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear sensible shoes, have plenty of water and sunscreen.
Volunteers will meet at ten Saturday morning at Esther Simplot Park.
An after party will be held at Cafe Luciano's from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The River will be giving away concert tickets and all volunteers will get Leinenkugel’s merchandise. And if you're 21 and over, you will have the chance to win a canoe full of brew from Leinenkugel’s.
