Publish date: 2024-06-03

Cyberpunk 2077 is the latest release by the infamous game developers, CD Projekt Red. The game is an open world RPG with alternate endings. This means that players can choose which ending they want through doing different quests. The game is filled to the brim with various major and sub-quests that players can complete. Side quests are generally less important to the story and more so for getting some loot or items. In this article we take a look at one of the many side-quests in Cyberpunk 2077, Sweet Dreams side-quest.

Cyberpunk 2077 Sweet Dreams side-quest

Cyberpunk 2077, Sweet Dreams is a quest that is more risk than reward. Even though that’s the case, players may want to check it out.

The quest starts with meeting a very sketchy character called Stefan at No-Tell Motel. He offers the player a braindance. Players can buy the braindance for a steep price of 16,000 Eddies and some additional equipment for 4,000 Eddies.

However players are advised to not buy the additional equipments as the end result isn’t worth it. This move ensures the damage to the players is kept a minimum. Simply buying the braindance is enough to go through the quest. This saves at least 4,000 Eddies and is a good way to damage control.

How to progress through the Sweet Dreams quest

After paying for the braindance, players need to use the braindance. After using it players will wake up in a Scav area with nothing on their person. All the equipments will be gone at the start.

However fret not, you can find the equipment in the area. The equipment will help the players to fight their way out of the area. However players must take their equipment before the quest is over. Because once it’s done they cannot retrieve it for the rest of the game. Players need to find their equipments and Eddies or lose it forever.

The equipment can be found at a hole in the wall near the desk after leaving the bathroom. After the locker full of gear is searched, players can choose to kill all the Scavs in the area. After all, this is for the best for a safe getaway.

On getting out safely players can go and confront Stefan about the quest.  However Stefan doesn’t return the Eddies for the braindance. Players can now choose to kill him or leave him be.

After the confrontation with Stefan is over, the quest-line comes to an end.
