Horror Movie '308' Back on Screen

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian horror movie '308' will be back on cinemas in Indonesia after participating in international horror film festival in Los Angeles, USA, as the only Asian representative.

"The movie will be re-launched as an appreciation for its achievement in an international festival," said Rocky Soraya, the movie director of 308. The movie is scheduled to be screened starting from November 21.

According to Rocky, many people might have yet to watch the movie. Even though the movie did not win any award in the festival, it will be re-made in American version while not all the participating and winning movies getting the same opportunity.

The movie tells the story about hotel number 308. Javanese myth says the room is often visited by Southern Beach Queen, Nyi Roro Kidul. Indonesian famous actor and actresses, Shandy Aulia, Denny Sumargo and Kartika Putri are starring the horror movie.
