I’ve cut back on shopping quite a bit over the last month because my wallet is still recovering from holiday gifting. But being a fashion girlie through and through, I just can’t resist a good deal. I recently stumbled across this under-$50 sale curation from my favorite store, aka Nordstrom, and decided to see how much I could get for $300 — not a penny more. Circus NY by Sam Edelman Cable-Stitch Fringe Turtleneck Sweater

As a former sweater designer, I’m extremely particular about the sweaters I purchase. I look for three things when shopping for new sweaters: The yarn needs to be soft and warm and the silhouette should be unique. This Cable-Stitch Fringe Turtleneck Sweater checks all of those boxes. It comes in a marled purple and pink yarn and is available in sizes XS through XL. The fit is cropped and the yarn is super soft with lots of stretch. The foldover turtleneck is slouchy and ribbed, as are the finishings at the cuffs and hem. The sweater also has two cable-knit stitches at the front and fringe on both sides for added visual interest.
