Although he agreed to have sent his genitals and other ‘nasty’ messages to Catherine Virginia Cuesta on Snapchat, the athlete maintained his stance until the case was finally resolved out of court.

Settling the case out of court, Christopher Adkins was Joshua Jeffords’ lawyer while Mark Trigg was Fletcher Cox’s lawyer. The two lawyers, when asked for a comment on the case after it was resolved out of court, maintained that neither of the parties was liable for the damages incurred. 

What’s more, the lawsuit was resolved with neither party admitting liability to the other, so, neither Jeffords nor Cox was held liable.
