Stassi Schroeder's Brother Weighs In On Her Firing

Publish date: 2024-06-15

Before Stassi Schroeder got the ax from Vanderpump Rules, she issued an Instagram apology on June 7, 2020. However, it was too little, too late. On June 5, 2020, Page Six reported that brands Billie and Ritual stopped working with Stassi. A Ritual spokesperson told Page Six, "We were not aware of her actions and realize that is unacceptable and part of our responsibility. We have ended our partnership with Stassi, and we are committed to doing more thorough diligence on all our brand partners going forward."

Additionally, Stassi was writing a monthly column for Glamour related to wedding planning. However, on June 9, 2020, Glamour shared, "Glamour has no plans to continue our wedding column with Schroeder."

Aside from losing those lucrative partnerships, Stassi doesn't have her team. On June 8, 2020, Variety reported that Stassi's agency, United Talent Agency, and her publicist ended relationships with her. Metro Public Relations firm stated, "She became a client when her publicist joined our company in July 2018. We made the decision this weekend to part ways with Stassi."

On June 10, 2020, Us Weekly reported that her podcast, Straight Up With Stassi, has been removed from Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Stitcher. Radio.com, the platform that broadcasted the show, addressed this in a June 9, 2020, Instagram post, writing, "We take these matters very seriously and condemn these actions. Straight Up with Stassi has been removed from our portfolio."
